I volunteer with Citizens advice in a full UC area. This week we had 4 people in 1 day who came in to say their UC had been stopped with only an email notice because they had reached an earnings limit. All were in early stages of employment with no permanent contract in place, just grabbing extra work to help pay off previous debts. There is meant to be a 3 month safety net but this has been stopped. Cl could not access their online account to ask for a Mandatory reconsideration. They will now have to reapply for UC from the beginning. We posted an MR anyway to see if this gets anywhere. Has anyone else come across this yet (Full UC areas)?
