how does a report work for home assessments was created by Rachlv
I read somewhere that the main computer program isn't available for home pip assessments. How does it work then, do they take all the information and then fill it into the computer program later or is the case once its been typed into the laptops it cannot be adjusted. (almost like a multiple choice thing if they said no go to question 6 etc).I was just wondering as there was constant typing ,are they just makes notes of what they believe was missed off of the form and then putting it into the software when they get to the office?

Hi Rachelv
They are filling in an electronic form which is then uploaded to the main system database - Some of that is just ticking and in places, they type notes to help them write the finished report. It is completed after the assessment.

oh so they work on it later and then send it through to the dwp. This reassures me a little because with everyone talking and questions fired and constant typing im glad they get to look at it later to make sure its coherent etc before sending it on.
