severe Disability Premium and ESA was created by Niamh
Hello All

Currently I am claiming ESA with a severe disability premium. I am in the support group.I also claim PIP with an enhanced care rate and standard mobility rate.

My last ESA claim was granted for two years and is up for review in January 2020.

As I cannot claim Universal Credit because I am claiming a severe disability premium, will I still face a review and a WCA assessment in January 2020?

Or do the transitional protection regulations for managed migration on to UC mean that I will now not have any further ESA reviews and remain on ESA as a legacy benefit until a managed migration on to UC ?

Thank You for any help

Being barred from claiming UC does not mean that your ESA will not be reassessed, so expect this to happen in early 2020.
