My PIP expires in April 2020 and I have not yet heard from the DWP regarding this . How long do they usually wait to write to you prior to renewal . I am 62 years and was awarded five years ago. My circumstances are in fact worse now with certain aspects to my health so no improvement change . I get full award as I took it to tribunal and the panel went through my case with a fine tooth Combe with Macmillan representatives present ✅ it was very stressful indeed but it was won and awarded . Any replies appreciated please.
At one time the DWP used to contact people a year before their award was due to end, but now it seems to be about six months before - (although this is not published anywhere). So you would expect to hear around October - though understand the DWP is a law unto itself so I cannot give you an exact time.
