We are in the midst of completing my daughters PIP form and have an original date of 8th Sept 2019. This morning she received a letter advising that her submission date has been extended to the 22nd Sept. We have NOT asked for an extension(but are very glad of it) so we are a little suspicious of it.
Has anyone else had experience of this, or know why this has happened?

Hi MRICH

You are not the only member to have reported this happening. Nothing suspicious in it - just some internal workings of the DWP. Just be glad of it.
