Yes, you can go away but this is a case where I would inform the DWP unless you can arrange a reassessment date that does not clash with your holiday in advance.
The Assessment Provider is only required to give you seven days written notice of an assessment appointment and this includes postage so one could be booked and held while you are away. DWP policy when a claimant fails to attend without notifying the AP in advance is to close the claim unless they can provide Good Cause, there is no second chance to attend.
Your being away from home should be accepted as Good Cause but you don't want to have to deal with this situation if you can avoid it.
If you do notify the DWP then you will also have to contact them on your return.
