PIP assessment tomorrow was created by Oliverdog
I mutually early retired from work due to illness. I am in receipt of contribution based ESA and get the disabled supplement and in the group that doesn’t have to look for work. I completed the form and didn’t need a face to face assessment. My Pip is due to End in January sohave had a review form which I completed and returned. I have got an appointment for a face 2 face interview in the morning. I missed a telephone call at 4.15 this afternoon and got a message asking to call them back. I picked this up after five. If they were changing my appointment would they have said in the message. I had to change the first day ne as I had no one to take me . I am so anxious why didn’t they tell me why they had phoned

Hi ValH

I'm sorry, I can't tell you why they might have been phoning you. All you can do is ring them first thing in the morning to find out the reason for their call. They don't usually say what the call is about for confidentiality reasons - they have no idea who else might have access to a message.

Hi ValH

Yes, it is very common. Many members have found themselves in the same position.

Hi just wanted to update you on the horrible day I have had. I rang this morning and was told my PIP Assessment was changed to one o’clock so made all the rearrangements. My friend drove me and we waited until quarter to two as the HP was reading the documents. In we went two and three quarters hours later we came out. I felt like I had been three rounds with Mike Tyson or a police interrogation. Is this normal? My last PIP Assessment took one hour. Fingers crossed after this in-depth probing I am accepted on PIP again but it has totally wiped me out x Anyone have the same experience?

Two and 3/4 hours is definitely on the long side, hopefully it means that they were thorough.
