You should although the sending of text messages seems to be hit and miss, they will write to you saying that they now have all the information they need to make a Decision.

Not sure if this helps but I’ve received 2 texts to date from the DWP, one confirming receipt of my ESA50 and another confirming receipt of my PIP1 application form. Just waiting for the hefty PIP2 to be delivered.
