There is a list of the questions likely to be asked in the PIP Claim guide.

It is extremely unlikely that they will want to see around your house but remember they are a guest in your home and have no more right to look around than anybody else.

There are numerous reports on here of assessors *not* wanting to see around the house/what equipment you have, etc. Choose somewhere you're comfortable, and which corresponds to your condition - e.g. if you're largely bedridden don't feel you have to get up and sit in a chair/get dressed etc. Do make sure you have someone with you, and that they can jot down notes about questions and answers. Assessors are very varied, and there's no guarantee of what type you might get.

They won't ask to look around your house, but will make 'informal observations'. I saw some of this on my PIP report, although I couldn't see any evidence of it being used for or against the points awarded in my case.

I wouldn't worry about it focus more on being prepared for the questions, but maybe consider if there's anything that might undermine the facts of your case.

Eg daft example but say your wife can't prepare fresh food, but some kind soul has dropped off a bowl of fruit and it's on display where the assessment is. I guess either move that or explain? Just an example..
