Appeals process, is confusing was created by baldydave
Ive done the mandi tory reconsideration and have the form for the appeals but it is so confusing.

Should I fill in the part that asks why I disagree now or do it later (is that possible?) the Dwp got medical records from gp a lot of them are muddled because I tend to talk odd and mumble things up a bit.

A gp noted that I was doing a he course in one visit the following visits were due to depression and anxiety over the rest of a 12 month period around seven another said i hoped to be studying a nursing degree which I did hope but I was in the middle of a mental health crisis and barley passed the course

I was later advice not to go to uni, plus I didn't get the right grades. The Dwp ignored all my anxiety depression Dr notes and stated that I am a lot more capable do not seem to struggle cognitively as it has been confirmed that I am studying a degree in nursing.

Im not studying anything have never been to uni but they confirmed it apparently

I joined a gym in Jan lasted 3 weeks but had to stop going too many people and a bad panic attack, told assor this, said I sometimes go running.

The report said I reguraly go to a gym and run

In the assessment I had a panic attack, was sweating had to have a break in the toilet. My wife answered a lot of the questions for me but I answered some and messed a few dates up. I really did try my best to give eye contact but I know i was terrible.

The decision letters stated I was calm and answered all questions thoughaly.

Im autistic, had life long social anxiety have global neuropathy and insomnia

I dont know if I'm supposed to quote directly back to the letter with medical records that they would have had and send copies with the letter, mandi tory papers... Really lost and confused

I wish they would just say no your not having it instead of making things up

HI Baldydave

I would put a single reason why you disagree with the report, such as saying that the assessor has said you are doing a degree in nursing when your mental health meant that you have been unable to pursue this dream. And then you should add a note saying that you will be sending in your evidence at a later date. You can submit your information up to a week before your tribunal date. I don't suggest you leave it that long but you have a lot of time to get your thoughts and your evidence together.

Yes, I would use quotes from your evidence to emphasise where you think the assessor has been inaccurate.

With regard to your panic attacks - you need to show that this affects you for the majority of the time.

Whatever you write focus on the areas where you think you should have scored greater points.
