Advice Wanted was created by Tinol
Greetings,

I'm presently in receipt of the ESA WRAG and, in March, I was requested to complete an ESA-50 form. This was completed and returned in April, with this being acknowledged in writing by the CHDA the following month.

However, as I had received no further correspondence on this, at least until earlier today, last week I contacted the CHDA requesting an update on the status of my claim. I was subsequently informed that my case had been "withdrawn" in August and returned to the DWP for "advice" on how to proceed with my referral. The DWP had, apparently, then referred me back to the CHDA earlier this month, and I understand that my case is now awaiting a review by the Leeds' office.

I would be most grateful if somebody here could elaborate on what exactly this means and, furthermore, what you would suggest regarding my next steps.

Many thanks.

My best guess and I stress that it is a guess is that Maximus made a recommendation for an award without the need for a face to face but the DWP has rejected the report and sent it back to Maximus, they now have to either; re-work the report and submit it again or hold a face to face assessment and produce a new report based on that.

You are currently waiting for your file to get to the top of the pile again so that Maximus look at it.
