Been trawling through old posting about the trick ? questions asked at F2F ie about meeting people and going to place ect. I do not like going out i struggle big time, but they just sent me a text of where the office is, now the quandry. it is 100 yards away from where my partner went to school its 50 yards from where the brother in law had his wedding reception 300 yard from where the mother in law lives and to put a tin hat on it 75 yards from where we got married any ideas what to say or do if they say how come you got here ok or seem not stressed by the locale etc.

Hi William1972

They will not be asking you 'how come you got here okay' - they will be asking you literally how you got there - eg public transport, taxi, walking - and did you come alone or were you accompanied. It isn't a trick question - it's a standard question that anyone going to an assessment centre is likely to be asked. If you are distressed when you get there, even if it is not obvious you need to say so to the assessor. You could say that it is close to places you are familiar with, but be aware this can easily lead to assumptions being made about how often you go out and how capable you are of navigating places.
