I got the form to transfer over from DLA to PIP. is there any link i can use to get the guidelines in relation to filling in the form?

I would like to know do you score any points for medicine on the PIP form? i have CKD stg 3, and can not take anti-inflammatory as advised by the doctor. i also can not take Prednisolone raises my sugar levels which the doctor has also advised. so i am on Tramadol and Amitriptyline for pain. the Tramadol makes me drowsy

Hi Joachimk

It is not the type of medicine you take that scores points - it is your ability to be able to take the medicine safely and reliably. You can read about it here.

question 2b page 9 on the PIP form, any side effects for medication. if Tramadol causes drowsiness and you are not able to carry out a task. does that count as a side effect?

Yes, it would but as BIS said it is the difficulty in managing your mediation that is being assessed.

If your medication limits your ability to complete some of the other PIP activities then you would need to explain this in your answer for each activity.
