Hello, I had to claim PIP from DLA Indefinite, filled in form, sent back and called to say I did not have to attend a face to face meeting, got a text to say DWP decision maker had received report from assessor and should hear within six weeks. six weeks have past now what can I do please, as am worried sick about the whole process, I am 66 yo disabled pensioner. Thank you.

Some members have been told that there are delays in the Decision part of the process and it could take ten or more weeks, all I can suggest is that you contact the DWP office dealing with your claim for an update.

Hi Bobby, my husband is 66 years and like you is having to apply for PIP from DLA. We have been waiting over 10 weeks now and like you worried and stressed. Just thought I would let you know that we have not heard anything yet either.
