Hi Susan
Have a look in our "Members Only Guides' www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip.
We have lots of information in there, look at 'Guide to PIP claims and reviews' page 78 Questions you may be asked at your medical assessment.

Thanks I have done however not much on home visits.... And what to do If they cancel the home visit then insist you attend an assessment building...what is the difference seeing a person in their home or in a closed room environment.

A home visit will not be significantly different from one done in the offices.
From the Assessment Providers point of view, it is a matter of cost, it costs them more to do a home assessment and assessors that are assigned to do this are less productive than the ones at their offices.
If they cancel and switch you to an appointment at their office then you should find out why they have done this. If the home assessment was offered without you providing up to date medical evidence then you should see whether your GP will do this and state that you categorically cannot attend at their offices.
