Cica payment effect ESA pip ?

PPI Compensation payment was created by freefee
hi,
i would just like to get some advice regarding a ppi mis- selling payment i have received today, it was £10005, it has been taxed, do i need to inform anyone that i have received this payment? i am in receipt of esa contribution and pip, also i am not a tax payer, so should tax have been taken from the payment?
any advice would be welcome,

If you are only receiving Contribution Based ESA then the payment should be treated as a one-off payment of capital so your ESA(CB) will not be affected and you do not need to tell the DWP.
If you are receiving any Income Related ESA then the payment will take you above the £6000 limit so there may be deductions from your ESA(IR). If as a result of the payment your total savings and assets exceed £16.000 then your ESA(IR) will stop.
I'm afraid we cannot help you with your tax question, maybe the CAB can, the issue would appear to be why it has been treated as income in the first place.

Since effect crime 2002,unaware if claim effect Dwp benefits.
To-date only to find out , two payments offer back 2006. 2007. Total 6.ooo.
Since my ria physical disabilities 2010 not able to deal h m courts and tribunals service via cica.offer remain of 14.800. this total 27.000.
This does effect all Dwp pip ESA housing health care funded services.
So
No ware all benefits stop if I take payment.
I'm cannot be paid twice for crime effect my mental health too.
So.
How one inform judges this reason HM courts and tribunals service Frank male emply assumptions about myself again.
The soical chamber department. I only just got pip ward .

just noticed it looks like i got 10 k when it was 1k, thanks for the help, my esa is contribution based, so i should be ok then?
