GP will write a letter, what goes in it, complex was created by Frenitik
HI, 2 issues
Lucky enough that my GP has offered to write a letter, but what goes in it, the BW guide says all the descriptors, but there is no way he will do such a detailed letter, i also talk very little about my ME to him, I have had it diagnosed since 1993.
Applied for PIP on 10 October, received form 19th october, that is just three weeks to complete is that correct? I need more time i have M.E, welfare team have let me down,

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

You need then to address all of the activities that you have problems with but they will only write on those that they have knowledge of either directly or indirectly so if you have not told them how your ME limits you then it may be difficult for them to provide a supportive letter.
You can request a two week extension for completing the form by phoning the number on the letter that came witth the form.

Hi, tx for reply, in terms of discussions with GP;si would say most ME sufferers who have had it many years barely mention it anymore, only when symptoms get worse,

I realise that a lot of GPs make it difficult for claimants, mine is actually not too bad but we all need to be proactive in keeping them informed of our problems.
