Hello,I would just like to inform you of pip assessment, I had my assessment in September 2018,my wife's had hers in September this year, it was by 2 different assessors, yet the reports are almost identical, in the part musculoskeletal ,the shoulder abduction is word for word identical in both reports, there are so many identical observations in both reports,in my wife's report, there are so many untruths in the report,it's unbelievable. We are awaiting the DWP decision. I would like your thoughts on identical reports, there seem to be a lot of copy and paste going on in these floored assessment's. I would be quite happy for you to see both reports

I can appreciate your annoyance at the similarities in the report but it does not matter, the Decision will be based on your wife's report and no consideration of yours will be made.

There is a small window for you to write to the Decision Maker but you will need to be quick.

Understand that the assessor is offering an opinion when they say that she can do the PIP activities, tackling these head-on is unlikely to be successful, you need to show that the basis of that opinion is founded on incorrect information, so try and refer to her evidence to undermine what they have said.

Also, try and stick to issues that lead to your scoring points, I often hear members referring to the assessors spelling, as an example, whilst it may show a lack of professionalism, raising it as an issue isn't going to help her get an award.

Lastly, make sure that you understand the criteria that she is being assessed against you can put the best case forward that is possible but she won't score points if she does not meet the PIP Descriptors.
