I would like some advice about my medical assessment which I have to attend on the 5th of nov. The problem is I suffer from anxiety making me not leave the house for days or even weeks. I has asked for a home visit explaining it would cause my mental health to deteriorate but they seem to have ignored that. I don't feel strong enough to go to the assessment without someone for moral support but no one I know can get time off. Is there any organisation that can accompany me to the assessment?
You won't get a home assessment without a supporting letter from your GP, would they write one?
There may be a volunteer group in your area that can help, your GP surgery should have a list of groups in your area, you can also try any charities that specialise in your conditions.
