My husband is going through the transfer (hopefully!) from DLA to PIP.
We submitted the forms around ten weeks ago and he received a text message to say they had been received and that he may need to attend a face-to-face assessment. We didn’t hear anything more until the beginning of October when he received a letter saying they now had all the information they needed to make a decision about whether to award him PIP. There was no mention of a face-to-face and we have heard nothing since.
Dare I hope this means he won’t be out through the ordeal of a face-to-face assessment and they are making the decision based on the forms and supporting medical evidence?
