PIP appeal which descriptors query was created by Voyager
Hi I recently went through the DLA to PIP transfer process. I used to be on DLA enhanced daily living and enhanced mobility for life. I was awarded I point for PIP. I have been through the PIP mandatory reconsideration and now have 7 points for daily living.
My query I would really like help and advice with is: should I base my appeal to tribunal on the new descriptors/points I have been awarded (I believe I have grounds to appeal to raise them from 2 to 4 for example) and/or go back to my original claim for PIP and resubmit my evidence for other different descriptors which were turned down in the first place when they were originally considered? (when I got 1 point). In other words can I go back and appeal and resubmit my original evidence at the tribunal? Or do I have to stick with what has been considered at the mandatory reconsideration stage.
Any advice appreciated
Karen

You are appealing the MR Decision but the Tribunal panel will re-make the Decision from scratch so you can deal with issues from the original Decision and ones from the MR.
You should not need to provide any evidence that you previously supplied, it should be contained in the DPW's submission which you will receive after your appeal is accepted.
