If the assessor was a trainee then I think you have to assume that the older woman validated the report before it was submitted to the DWP, that may add more weight to the content of the report but it also may lessen it if the trainer has not emphasised the need to consider the claimant's mental health when doing the assessment.

Not necessarily, you will have to wait and see, if they are taking statements, then I would assume that they take statements from all those who were there.
