A sensitive topic for us ladies... was created by Tuliptrees
Having gone through cancer surgery and internal Brachytherapy, I have now been told to use a dilator for vaginal vault management. I'm just wondering if a dilator counts as an appliance or aid under 'Managing Therapy'. It has to be used multiple times weekly and if I don't use it I suffer from painful vaginal vault atrophy and subsequent UTI's. Any thoughts anyone?

Hi Margo
If you have been told to use it by a medical professional then you should include it.

Have a look at our PIP Claim guide, it is not the therapy that is being considered but the need for prompting, supervision or assistance by another person.
