Esa telephoned assessment was created by mezz
Hi new to this!
Iv had a letter saying I have an esa assessment via phone on the 26 June, will this be like the pip phone assessment,
Just not sure what to expect!
I do get pip as well but that was f/f
Thanks in advance

Yes, the physical process of an ESA assessment will be very similar to the ones being done for PIP.
They have only just started doing these and we have not had much feedback but we have had a lot of comments about the PIP ones and there is now a section in our PIP Claim guide that covers these so I would recommend you have a look.

Obviously, you will be assessed against the ESA criteria, have a look at our ESA Claim guide for an explanation of this.

Some simple prep you might want to do; have a glass of water by the phone and a comfortable chair or whatever is relevant to you, call times seem to vary a lot from 20-30 minutes at the bottom end and well over an hour at the other.
Best of luck.
