Re: PIP claim was created by Habib
Hi dear,

I hope you would be fine. Actually, i am in the process of claiming PIP, as my right is severely affected by polio since my childhood. I have few questions about this;

1. Can a self employed person also apply for PIP.
2. I got pip claim form, if for any reason, I do not send them back, how would effect me and after how long I might be able to claim again.

I would be very grateful, if someone helps me ASAP.

Regards
Habib

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

1. PIP is not a means tested benefit so your work status, income and savings are not a factor.

2. If you fail to return the form then you claim will be closed, you can start a new claim at any time there is no waiting period.

Our PIP Claim guide is on the following link

If you have any further questions then please return to the forum and we will do our best to help.
