Hi so I am on universal credit and have been awarded the enhanced rates on pip will this increase universal credit and will I get some sort if disability premium
If you are claiming Universal Credit there are no disability premiums.
In some circumstances you can be treated as having limited capability for work in Universal Credit without having to go through the work capability assessment, for example if you terminally ill, are on certain treatment programs or are over state pension age and in receipt of a disability benefit.
The exceptions to this are if you are receiving Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment, or can be treated as having limited capability for work in Universal Credit without having to go through the work capability assessment. In these cases the earnings threshold does not apply.
