Hi, I have just read another thread where a PIP receipient was undertaking a telephone assesment and was asked about how much savings they had. They were also asked if they had any debts and other inappropriate questions.
PIP is not a means tested benefit is it?
Why would they need to know what you have saved, or how much money do you owe.
I would be minded to tell them to mind their own business about what savings or debts I have.
I am only recieving PIP and have an award currently until I am 80 yrs old.
The questions about savings and debts were probably an insensitive way of trying to establish the person's budgeting skills, which is one of the PIP activities.
