I have had my Mobility Car for less than 2 years, but my mobility and power in my legs has got worse and driving any distance is now become an impossible. My Mental Heath is worse and find it difficult to even leave the house. I have only done a total of 1,107 miles, mostly done on a couple of trips to see my friend, but that journey is now impossible.

Am I able to return the car before the end of the lease and get the money instead that I could use on cabs and trains.

Hi BlackpoolRocks

You need to have a work with the Motability scheme to see whether or not you can surrender your car due to ill health.

Also have a read of your Motability contract, there should be a clause about early surrender, as I would assume this happens quite often due to the nature of the clientele.
