Managed migration onto universal credit for income support claiments was created by Canada
I am an income support claimant, I also get carers allowance. I was just wondering if people on income support were included in the postponement onto universal credit like those on income related employment support allowance. I know there was an announcement about this in the budget yesterday however, I couldn't find anything on income support claimants. Thanks in advance for answering this question.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Canada
I'm afraid we can't tell you at this point because nothing was said in the statement.

There is nothing that mentions a postponement for IS claimants
It is obviously however taking them much longer to move people over to UC than they had originally envisaged… I would arrange an appointment at CAB if you are worried about this, as they will be able to give you a full benefits check to see how you will be affected by UC.
