UC Managed Migration Appointees was created by Kelly
Are claimants with an official DWP Appointee being deferred from managed migration?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi Kelly
Welcome to the forum.
You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum.
Not that I am aware of, all claimants affected will receive a migration letter, they will have a period of time to respond to the migration letter. If they fail to respond then their claim will stop.

I'm not sure Gary, if you google Kelly's question it seems that this is the case.
It would also appear that some claimants with DWP approved Appointees are 'slipping through the net' and as of Feb '24 the official line was to contact DWP and have the Managed Migration letter cancelled.
It's difficult to find anything definitive on the Gov. websites, (as per), but certainly some Disability sites have been/are flagging this point up
