Enhanced rate PIP migration to Universal Credit was created by tickingclock
My daughter has enhanced rate PIP and is in the Support Group for ESA. She is entitled to both contribution based and income related ESA. Will she need to complete forms to migrate to Universal Credit or will she have transitional protection.?

Hi tickingclock
Thank you for your question, PIP and CB ESA will not be affected by UC migration.
Your daughter will receive a letter to apply for UC, as your daughter is in the support group, she should get the LCWRA element with out the need for a fit note or an assessment, she needs to wait get the migration letter first before applying for UC.
We would advise your daughter to seek advice from her local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk . When you apply for UC timing is everything, so do get advice.
