PIP new rules was created by speo77
Hi, I heard yesterday that everyone will be included in the reassement for PIP, not just new claiments from next November. Even if you already scored the 4 points needed in one category, you will still be reassessed as if it's a new claim .Surely this would take years to go through every single claim ? Or is this just hearsay and misinformation I'm hearing ?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi speo77
The government has yet to confirm what the new PIP rules will be.
As it stands currently, everyone who claims PIP can expect to be reviewed at some point, according to the award length on their decision letter. When that happens, people are subject to a face-to-face, telephone, video, or paper-based assessment. Will this change? We don't know.
