ESA support group to UC migration was created by Winlars
Hi

I am not sure I can create posts? I can opnly reply to posts? Is that because I am not a member?

I got my migration notice today. Anxiety just shot up.

I get ESA support group. I also get housing benefit and ongoing discretionary housing benefit. I should have claimed PIP ages ago, years ago.. but just found it all too stressful..

Anyway.. so where do I start? Do I leave it till final few weeks to make the claim? I have until mid July to makie move. So you don't have to refill in all your health info when making a claim? It's not like a fresh claim? I know all this will be written somewhere and I need to find guides etc.. but..

What do you need to fill in? What will I be asked? Sorry.. anxiety...

And what ID do I need? My passport has expired but I can send off for a new one if I really have to and if that makes things easier. I guess it would come before I need to do anything.

I am grateful for your response. I know all this has been asked before probably. But already I am overwhelmed. I need to look at dozens of web pages it seems. Some I will have read already ages ago but I have forgotten things already.

This week I will make contact with CAB on numbers above.

If you could, just some quick answers.

What do they ask when doing the claim? Do I need to tell them my health conditions? Or since it is a migration are the questions simple? Do they ask for bank statements? And what ID do I need? As I said I will send off for a passport if that makes things easier.

That would help for now..

Hi Winlars

I am unable to pre-empt these DWP requirements. The best people to do that are Help to Claim as you can see from the links I provided.
