i have established contact with citizens advice.
my last question for now.. if you could answer..
a couple of people in comments under articles about migration said there was a void of payment between transitioning between ESA to UC... a void that was never filled, that they had to find money to fill.. urely that isn't the case? That there is a payment void? Or have they misunderstood? Is payment ultimately seemless between ESA and UC.. there is no financial hole created?

Hi Winlars
People have varying payment cycles on ESA. You get a 2 week run on of ESA and Housing Benefit. If you find yourself short you can ask for a UC Advance.

but is the transition seamless financially.. there is no void, a period where you lose out, moving from one to the other, if things are done on time? That is what I meant.

Hi Winlars
The DWP say that with Managed Migration you don't lose financially. Yes there is a void as you say because UC is paid on a monthly assessment period basis. Though you can request an APA for fortnightly payments and for direct payment of rent to landlord.
