I have severe OA in both hands, and my Consultant stated that I can have a thumb replacement joint on one of my hands.
This would involve going in as a day case and going home the same day. I received PIP / UC and Housing Benefit If I decide to go ahead with the hospital procedure, do I have to notify them??
I know you have to if a hospital stay is 28 days plus you have to, but not sure about a day case.
Really stressed out and suffer from anxiety disorder, many thanks.
