Change from ESA to Uc someone living with me was created by Fiona Stokes
At the moment I am on ESA and my son is down as living with me, non dependent. I also receive full pip for mobility and care. Due to that the council doesn’t take his earnings into account for council tax relief. Am I right in thinking this all changes on ice and his wages would have an effect on my council tax relief and if money. Help please, if so he’ll have to leave, but that makes caring for me more difficult.
Many thanks,
Fiona

Hi Fiona Stokes
Firstly if the above is your real name would you please change your Forum user name for internet security purposes.
Each Council is allowed to draw up its own terms for the Council Tax Reduction scheme so you need to contact your local Council Tax Department directly.
