Netherlands Disability benefit and PIP entitlement

I have a client who is from the Netherlands, but has settled status here.
She claims benefits from the Netherlands but would like to claim PIP here. When she contacted the DWP, they asked whether she is in receipt of a disability benefit from the Netherlands which she is. The disability benefit that she receives is from a government organisation called UWV. They are on benefit WIA type IVA. This is a benefit given due to inability to work and is based on her previous salary and is the minimum amount to live on.
The name of the yearly extra amount is Tegemmoetkoming Arbeidsongschikten, the sum is 219.90 euros paid once a year and is for extra disability incurred costs.

Does anyone know if you can claim both benefits - can't seem to find out if it is possible to receive both benefits is she meets the eligibility for PIP?

Hi Fiona

I'm sorry, but your question is outside the remit of this forum. It's a question to ask the DWP. I don't know whether this link will answer the question www.gov.uk/pip/eligibility

Thanks for the reply - already contacted the DWP and not been given an answer as they don't know the answer. Looked in the PIP decision makers guide and nothing there - thanks for replying though

Fiona, perhaps these links will assist you going forwards
www.uwv.nl/en/individuals/occupational-d.../wga-and-iva-benefit

You have the right to keep receiving your benefit if you move to an EU/EEA country, Switzerland or a country that has a reciprocal social security agreement with the Netherlands (‘verdragsland’).

Additional links
www.gov.uk/government/publications/reciprocal-agreements
It looks like you would need to check with HMRC regarding Reciprocal agreements since Brexit
