Hi David and thank you again, ok I have phoned up and they are saying that the figure is correct, They say that as we have moved onto UC unlike before with ESA they now take a look at what money we have coming in unlike before with ESA, we have three peple living in the house, wife. husband and 30+ year old son, I asked about full exemption / reduction because my husband is severly mentally impaird [which is why and I might be wrong was reason for the full 100% reduction on ESA but I could be wrong]but replied that only applies if the person was single and living alone, I can give you the full figure on how much we now receive on monthly UC, just let me know but dont really want to put it on open forum, My husband is exempt from seeking work for UC as with IR-ESA before and in support group he receives PIP both enhanced rates for daily living and mobility, I his wife am full time carer over 35 hours and care for my husband so not required to look for work, I myself receive PIP standard daily care, my 30+ year old son lives with us and receives IR-ESA and is in the support group, he also receives PIP Enhanced daily living and standard mobility, he is still on IR-ESA and not yet been asked to transfer over to UC. This all seems unfare to me and if they are correct in this new council tax bill it looks like councills are now at war with the sick and disabled and robbing them of what we are entitled to, I really dont understand what is going on and really tired of everything going on as regards more government cuts etc., please let me know if you think if they are still wrong about this bill or have councils decided to persecute the sick and disabled just like the government [new Tory I call them], Thank you so much with any advice

Hi CLINTIAN
Have you applied for the Council Tax Reduction scheme? If so why have you not received any reduction at all? Have you tried getting a Council Tax Reduction Scheme calculation using Entitledto.co.uk ?
