Hi all , I had my last pip award renewed and sent the papers showing my points and award , I actually do have one 4 point in one category . My question is the award was for six years due to end this coming November , I know sometimes they renew a year before but know they are very busy, but should I be getting in touch with them as only six months left on my award ? Many thanks .
A friend of mine recently received her renewal form about two weeks before her award was due to expire. She is now waiting for it to be reviewed, and they are continuing to pay her, so I assume she was given an extension even though they never informed her.
They do have a backlog, so many people are receiving their forms later than usual, and others are getting them earlier than normal. You are in the first category. Only you can decide whether you want to ask them or whether to wait for the brown envelope to drop through your letterbox.
