How does one PM a moderator? What email address do you use for Steve or Jima1 etc?

Hi,

Theres a couple of ways to PM someone.

Either click on the persons name anywhere in the forum. In the window that opens, on the top left you will see a box called 'Profile View'. Underneath that there are two boxes (either online/offline) and PM.

Click on the PM box and a blank PM message, addressed to the person opens up.

Type in your message and click send.

Another way is if you look at the top right of this post, you will see my name and underneath a 'PM' box. Again click on that and a PM addressed to me would open. This is the same for anyones postings, the PM box is top right.

There are glitches with the PM system which do stop it working correctly if someone has changed their forum name (screen name)via the forum. See the 'Do not change your screen name' posting in the spotlights area at the top of the forum.

To contact Steve, either PM him, or send an e-mail to:

  			 				Hi,

Just to add what Pete has already stated.

You can e-mail Steve Donnison if you have a query about the site or a problem with the site at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

None of the other moderators private e-mail addresses are available to members for obvious reasons, the only way we can be contacted is by the Personal Message (PM) which Pete has explained how to use.

However, the PM system must not be used to contact a particular moderator(s)
with benefits queries, they must be posted on the forum, as is clearly explained in the Spotlights area of the forum PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING

Also, if you have a problem with a particular post, you can click the button at the bottom which says 'report to moderator'. Then we'll all get an email so whoever's on first can sort the problem. You can even report your own post if you've made a mistake that you need sorting!

  			 				Hi A,

Thanks for that, I'd forgotten about 'report to moderator'

Hope you enjoyed your holiday in Venice.

Best wishes.

Thanks Jim, Pete and indieames. It's OK Jim, we won't use it for benefit queries or benefit advice!

Many thanks
