Dear Benefits and Work, are those disabled people in the UK who are still receiving DLA, and have not been migrated to PIP by the DWP, volunteer to migrate prior to the implementation of the new 4 point rules in November 2025? If not those of us still receiving DLA risk losing all support, despite many of us having long term, degenerative conditions and receiving DLA for many, many years. Thanks for your help!

Hi Teeka

The government has paused migrations of DLA to PIP until 2028. That may change in light of all the other changes. Steve will report in the newsletter about whether people should voluntarily move across and whether the DWP will allow people to do so. Keep an eye out there.
