I’ve got a question about the ESA to UC Managed Migration process, namely, has anyone heard of someone having an automatic extension granted without asking for one?
The reason that I ask, is because my sister received a DWP letter today unexpectedly, stating that the deadline date had been extended by a month.
She was under the impression that to receive an extension, she would need to request one, but this letter suggests otherwise.
If there is anyone, who can shed some light as to why she would have received a letter like this, I’d be very appreciative of any information that you could provide.
I have had friends and family members who were given an automatic extension without asking for one. I assume that they do it in batches simply because they have been struggling to process the large number of claims.
