Hi greg
There is no such thing as a CB-ESA duel claim, CB-ESA is based on your NI contributions, You can get joint claims on IR-ESA.
We have heard from many members on the forum who had no idea that they were receiving CB-ESA until they were told by UC.
As for help with health costs, it would depend on a number of factors: www.gov.uk/help-nhs-costs
We would advise you to seek specialist advice from your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk where they can take all your circumstances into consideration when giving you advice.

thx latetrain for reply ,i mean im now getting duel new style esa and uc ,the former deducted from my uc monthly ,i never got that phone call to explain the reasoning behind it ,though i did speak to confirm my new claimant commitment for new style esa thatll ill inform them of any changes ,now they insist i get a call every 3 month to re confirm it ?,i asked whats the point of a commitment if u check up every 3 month ,she said its incase claimants forget to tell uc of any changes was her reply ,is this normal ? she also said that this new style esa will be changing to another new benefit in the near future but didnt know anything more ,on a plus note ,i just got enhanced care for adp from standard for 5 years ,never spoke to anybody ,just based on written paper form ,thx to all the valuable info here on the website ,thx all at b n w
