Hi All,
What you make of this...
My partner [ESA support group] was migrated to UC about 4 months ago. A social worker helped her with her migration.
Now, everything went wrong, but, worst of all, the UC lot are incapable of working out her TP. She is about £15 a month short.
Her social worker has been onto them to no avail. She tried to contact her case worker, and apparently did, but has been waiting 4 months for a response..
Anyone have any idea what is going on??

You will need to draw up your calculation of the correct Transitional Element and submit it to the DWP on the CRMR1 form ( below ) as a Mandatory Reconsideration. I think if you explain their mistake well enough then they should accept the error.

I will give it a try.
I cannot see why a mandatory reconsideration is needed though. There is nothing to reconsider, they are simply unable to do simple arithmetic and have erred in law.
Is there not just a formal complaints procedure??

You could send a Journal message to the Case Manager pointing out the error.
