Moving from Scotland to England was created by blymer
My son (41) is on UC, ESA and ADP (Scottish PIP). He is currently in Scotland but wants to relocate to near me in Lancashire. From my research I believe we can change address on UC and ESA without reassessment or reapplication. He would lose ADP and have to apply for PIP. He was on PIP for many years until Scottish government took over as ADP. Does anyone have any experience of moving country? Will he lose his transitional allowance? Or any UC, ESA? Is there anything else I should look out for?

Hi blymer - I would imagine you would have to re-apply for PIP, however don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure that you're correct in relation to the UC (not sure with ESA however).
I've approved your post, and maybes someone who's had experience of moving countries can advise you with regards to this query.

Chris.
