If you are an attorney and the person you are attorney group is in the support group should you have to go to the job centre to prove your identity. If you don’t can anyone tell me where I can find it stated in government information please.

Firstly if the above is your personal email then please change your Forum user name for internet security reasons.
If you have a power of attorney it is common practice to take the LPA document to the Jobcentre where it is copied and stamped as a true copy and then forwarded to the relevant DWP department.
