Lastest UC review news.

We are in October now and this all started around Feb to March this year. The DWP has asked again for statements and information that has already been sent to them.

Are they trying very hard to find something what is not there. My wife has her income from her job that the DWP have always know about. The only money I get comes from the DWP.

This all started because just before the review I received £1000 compo paid into my bank account. I sold a personal item on Ebay for £800 and I took £1400 out of my help to save account that made our savings jump.

The £1000 should be discounted 12 months for the compo. They said we hadn't declared £2000 of savings, really only £1000.

During the whole review they have paid us the UC we are entitled to. It has never been suspended. Really do not understand why process has dragged on for so long.

Hi David,

Now they have come back asking for July 21 to Oct 21. It is never ending. They keep on asking for everything we asked for before and we have sent them. It is coming like an harrassment now. This is 6 months of torture because it is always in the back of your mind. I do wonder if they find nothing much can I take any action against UC. It has had a big effect on my Parkinson's disease with the way it has been dragged out.

Going back to the start of my claim I a number of corrected UC payments that are corrected in my favour, but I don't recall ever being paid these under payments.
