State pension shortfall was created by Richard44
Help please. I have recently been eligible for the state pension but the dwp do not pay me the full state pension stating my local authority employer opted me out. Which leaves me with a short fall in state pension of £209 pcm.
I did not ask to be opted out of serps.
Can anyone advise please or been in this same position and managed to recover the full state pension?
I am disabled with care needs due to multiple sclerosis.
