hi mods, as a couple we get esa support group paid fortnightly on a friday, so today (monday)we contacted cab to migrate but were told as our next esa payday was not till this friday 31/10 to wait till next monday due to roll on of esa, but i asked about doing it on friday and was told thats fine i would get a 13 day roll on, would me waiting till monday 3/11 give me a full 14 day roll on with esa and h/b as i am a bit confused due to weekend. any advise please. thanks

I usually advise clients to apply for UC once they get their ESA in their bank account, as for weekends, bank transactions usually take place Monday to Friday, when I try and pay a bill on line at the weekend, I receive a message informing I cannot pay on the date I chose.

The ESA was paid into my bank account on the Tuesday, so I submit my UC online claim on the Tuesday. Then I had my last ESA payment 13 days after I submitted my UC online claim.
