Director

Hi,
I am on high pip and support group ESA.
I have got complex chronic health problems which effects me day to day .
New opportunity has come up for me .
I am thinking of become a director of Limited company . My husband will be managing it daily .
I have been out of work for a long time due to my health problems. If I become a director , I won’t receive a wages . I won’t be working set part time or full time hours . I will do maximum couple of hours work . My duties will be mainly sorting out emails and bills , reading and replying to letters as and when day come.
Once I make my decision, I will inform DWP. But I am afraid they will think “ I am well and cured” . It’s define not the case . I want to do this because I am sick of being useless for many years now. I can’t take normal part time work because I cannot commit that I will be well enough do it every day etc . But being a director ; I won’t have mandatory minimum hours work and I won’t be receiving wages. I am on support group , contribution based esa. We are not receiving any UC benefits.
Can you please give your advice ?
